The most recent phase of restoration construction is complete, but that doesn’t mean the work is done. The floodplain is lacking the native trees and shrubs that comprise a healthy riparian area. Trees benefit streams–and salmon–by providing shade, generating large woody debris, providing habitat for invertebrates what are a food source for fish, generating oxygen and preventing erosion. This year, over 2,000 trees will be planted in Ohop Valley. Join the fun!
