Why just settle for day trips, when the opportunities to spend a weekend in the woods are (almost) endless? The watershed has many campgrounds, both for tents and for RVs, from high up Mount Rainier, to the lower watershed. They all offer quick access to different recreation activities, like hiking trails and fishing areas! Since some of the campgrounds are covered by snow for parts of the year, make sure to check conditions before going out!
