Stefan Lee, Greene Realty Group: Homes for Trees, Trees for Salmon
There’s no better way to say “welcome home” than knowing your new home is part of a cycle of sustainability! Local realtor Stefan Lee partners with the Nisqually River Foundation to support our volunteer and student tree plantings in the Nisqually Watershed. For each home sold, Stefan donates the equivalent of 30 native plants (the approximate number of trees used to build an average house) to restore riparian forests along the Nisqually River and its tributaries. This program contributes to habitat restoration for salmon and wildlife, as well as to environmental education and stewardship to ensure our watershed’s healthy future.
